from the capitalist press (10 Nov 2012):
MINDLESS vandals wrecked a Goole primary school’s newest building – only weeks after the keys were handed over.
An extension at Marshlands Primary School in Old Goole was broken into on the same day that children had first begun receiving lessons in it.
The incident occurred on Monday evening – Bonfire Night. As well as the inside of the building being damaged, a van adjacent to the school was set on fire, while a forklift belonging to building contractors was also targeted.
Electrical items inside the new complex were stolen whilst children’s books and toys were burnt in what police say was an attempted arson.
