Man who vandalised war memorial imprisoned, Halifax (West Yorkshire)

A man who caused hundreds of pounds damage to a war memorial in Mytholmroyd has been jailed for 30 days. […] The statue’s head was twisted through 180 degrees and required a stonemason to repair it at a cost of £425.

    Halifax is in West Yorkshire, not Scotland.
